Welcome to Fishtown Leland (b)Logs – Emma Nelson FPS Summer Intern 2026
Emma is a 2023 graduate from the Leland Public Schools and a lifelong resident of Leelanau County. She will be a senior this fall at the University of Michigan, where she’s double majoring in the Program in the Environment and in Earth and Environmental Sciences. Her major area of interest is water quality, and there are many ways that she’s able to relate this focus to Fishtown through hands-on experiences.
