A Video of Fishing Aboard the Joy

June 29, 2011 / Fishtown / Fish Tugs, Fishermen and Families, Fishing

You may love fish, and you may love Fishtown, but do you wonder how the two connect? How do fish get from the waters of Lake Michigan to the counter of Carlson’s Fishery or to your favorite whitefish dinner – baked, broiled or fried – at a local restaurant?

In April of last year, photographer Meggen Watt spent a day aboard Fishtown’s tug Joy. We’ve posted a story and photos from that trip. Well, now Meggen has prepared a video for an even better look at fishing “in action.” Enjoy!
