We’re making a video … starring you!

September 23, 2011 / Fishtown / Events, History
0

Fishtown Summer 2011Autumn arrived this morning (at 5:05 am, according to the folks at The Old Farmer’s Almanac), but we’re not quite ready to let go of the summer yet.

So we’re doing something to make it last just a little bit longer. We’re making a video to remember Fishtown’s Summer 2011 – and we need your help.

You see, we were looking through our photos from this summer, thinking about all that happened. So many faces, so many stories, so much happening that we never caught on camera … and so much we never even knew about. But maybe somebody else did, right? Maybe you did?

If you were a part of Fishtown’s Summer 2011, we’d love to have your photos be a part of our video to remember the summer just past. Will you share with us the photos you took of your Fishtown Summer 2011?

To get your memory in gear (and your toes tapping, too, we hope), we’ve prepared for you a little video invitation from photos we did take, as well as some that have been passed on to us already. But come back after the video – we need to tell you how to get your photos to us! For now, though, we hope you enjoy this little teaser…

(If you’re using a mobile device or have any trouble seeing the video above, try the version of the video here.)

How to make your photos part of “Fishtown’s Summer 2011”

You can send us your photos by posting them on the wall on our Facebook page, or email them to us at [email protected].

Please send us high-quality photos – but we’re not commenting on your subject matter! We mean only that you should send photos that are a good resolution. If you are sending them through an email program, use a High quality setting and all should be fine.

Please send only photos that are actually yours, or that you have permission to use. And if you can, please let us know who took the photos – we’d like to give proper credit for all the help we get.

Thanks for being a part of this video project. I think we all want to remember every Fishtown summer.
